About UsJolesfield School Association
The JSA is a group of parents, carers, teachers and other hard working volunteers who raise money for school projects and provide social events for the children, parents and also the wider community. All the funds raised by the JSA are used to enhance the children’s lives at school.
In the last few years we have raised money for projects including:
Despite the recent tricky circumstances, we have managed to keep going with some alternative events. We changed our focus from fundraising to ‘fun-raising’ to try and keep spirits up, especially for the children. This led to our first ever ‘Santa Sleigh Ride’ through Partridge Green this Christmas, which was a huge hit with the whole village.
We have also managed to raise funds with a virtual Balloon Race, a virtual Christmas Raffle, cake sales in the village, our Christmas pop up shop and our ever popular weekly Cake Raffle. A big THANK YOU to everybody who supports these events. We couldn’t do it without you!
All parents, carers and staff are welcome to become a member of the JSA. We are always looking for new recruits to be part of the fabulous, hardworking team. It is lovely to welcome those with new fresh ideas and different skills that can be brought to the table. The JSA relies on new recruits to keep the fundraising going. As our children leave in year 6, so do our JSA parents, so please do not be shy, we would love you to be part of the team.
If you feel you could get involved and volunteer, it can be as little or as much as you can manage. All help is very welcome.
We are always adding to our annual schedule and we’d love to hear your ideas. Get in touch with us if you’ve seen fun activities work for fundraising in other schools or preschools and you’d like to see them happening here.
Here are the ways that you can stay up to date with what’s going on.
We look forward to getting to know you!
